Jim is currently President of Alpha Dog Strategies. He spent over 20 years on the front line of animal care and control before moving to the consulting side of animal sheltering. Jim’s forte is strategic planning. He is able to use the practical hands-on knowledge gained as an executive director and the insight gained as president of SAWA to help shelters put long-range plans into place. Jim has partnered with us on our needs assessment work for shelters and provides guidance to sheltering organizations on programs and management.
