Working Long Distance
During the past 25 years, we have designed and built over 600 animal care facilities in 40 states, Canada, Australia, and Japan. With only 31 of these projects in our own backyard, Colorado's Front Range, we have had to develop systems to streamline the design and construction process. Our satisfied clients are the proof that these systems work.
Gathering Information
In an ideal world, we would be able to visit you and your site frequently. However, this is often not feasible either from a cost or scheduling point of view. The next best thing is to have you send us photos, plans, sketches, and notes, and for us to spend the necessary time with you on the phone. We have developed a series of benchmark conversations to form the criteria for your project.
In the beginning, we focus on the big picture concepts, such as traffic flow. The last series of conversations will address specific issues, such as drains or types of floor finishes.
After each one of these conversations, we will incorporate the information we gather into drawings or notes that we will send back to you for confirmation. This process forms the checks and balances necessary to produce a successful project.
Communicating Information
As we move into the process of producing the drawings, the vast majority of our work is done on computer. We have the ability to email drawings to you, and we regularly use email for spur-of-the-moment questions or conversations. Your calls to us can be made on our toll-free number or by using the direct-dial number for the person in our office who is producing your project. In addition, we have teleconferencing capacities. Lastly, all of our project correspondence is sent out FedEx overnight.
