Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital

Finding space to build a large, upscale specialty facility in the Toronto metropolitan area is not easy.  These doctors bought an existing building, demolished the roof and expanded vertically.  The finished facility is a 16,000 square-foot specialty referral hospital.  As is often the case with specialty facilities, the challenge was trying to decide how to split the hospital into two floors.  In this case in-patient and surgery activities occur on the second floor, and outpatient, emergency and ICU are located on the first floor.
